From a technological point of view, we are working with NodeJS and PHP based frameworks. But also connectivity with REST APIS for in-house and companies such as Microsoft and Google. In other words: a bunch of exciting technologies and challenges.

What will be your mission?

You will join a project aiming to change how businesses work on a day-to-day basis. As a member of our team, you will help in the creation of MeteorJS Apps and PHP Apps. You will take part in the development of the platform: the frontend as well as the backend. In the first instance, you will familiarize yourself with our stack (Rocket.Chat Dev Kit and NExtCloud Dev Kit), the tools we use, and APIs we consume. You will practice these tools daily by coding client-side and server-side. You will discuss software architecture, define best coding practices, review commits, propose new technologies to tackle challenges we will face. You will deploy your code on production servers from day one.

You will evolve in a startup environment without the startup's disadvantages (we are profitable and self-funded ;)). You will be part of a strong team who like to share ideas, chat, and have fun together. Last but not least, you will join a team that loves beautiful and user-friendly products. Fabulor was founded by technical guys who have SaaS product development in their DNA. In everything we do, we do our best to deliver a high-quality user experience and robust software to delight our customers so they can delight theirs.

What do you need?

• You have made side-projects / pieces of code / open-source projects related to web development.
• You have experience with an OO programming language.
• You are experienced as a web developer (front-end and/or backend)
• You are a problem solver, and you like to understand how things work.
• You are a wizard in github

Not mandatory but a plus:

• You have experience with MeteorJS.
• You have experience with Containers.
• You have experience with scaling a large application.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English

You will lead projects aiming to change how businesses work on a day-to-day basis, and focus on the full project lifecycle, you get everything kicked off, structured and ready to work on. You will make sure everybody concerned is aware of the project’s purpose and the steps required to achieve the end goal. You will have a team to make sure the project fits the briefing and the expectations of the client. To have all the information accurate, you will update statuses and follow up on updates to reach the deliverable date on time and within budget, and last but not least, your end mission is to put a smile on the client’s face with the end result of the project.

What do you need?

• Previous experience in the software industry.
• You are a problem solver, and you like to understand how things work.
• You are fluent in English and 1 other language
• You are a real team player
• Experience Managing different calendars at the same time.
• Knowledge of Microsoft and Google office suite (spread sheets, docs, sharing, email).
• Knowledge of team work, tasks distribution, and hierarchy.
• You understand priorities and move tasks accordingly to the urgency of the clients and deadlines.
• Communication skills, you are not afraid of getting everybody on the same page.
